S1232 WAS SIGNED INTO LAW EFFECTIVE JULY 2024 This legislation creates a new section in the Idaho Code to provide for the notification of parents or guardians of their legal rights concerning child protection investigations. This law will require that child protective services workers to inform parents of their legal rights before interviewing them.
